In some sort of crazy, alternate, someone-must've-replaced-me-with-another-version-of-me world, I'm going to clean today. It's Friday. I usually don't clean on Fridays. Why? Because tomorrow is Saturday, the day where I make my slav....ahem....I mean children clean. So here's how it works: The entire house gets cleaned on Saturday, it starts to get messy Sunday (of course) I might do some touch ups on Tuesday, but by Thursday, my "It's almost Saturday, why bother cleaning" attitude kicks in.
So why in the world am I cleaning on FRIDAY??? I have no idea (aside from the fact that the house is a disaster). This is why I think I may be sick and/or replaced with a different (probably better) version of myself. If you find the old me wandering around, please don't send her home until my house is clean. But I am going to need her when it's time to write, so give her directions, but maybe bad ones.
What is everyone up to this weekend?
I always clean on Fridays! I like to start the weekend with a clean house. And then I can do fun things on Saturday and Sunday!

ReplyDeleteBe sure to save some work for the slaves. It's good for them. Cleaning bathrooms is key to good character.

ReplyDeleteLinda, Ha!! I always tell my husband we need to invite people over at least once a month because that's when the real cleaning gets done. But no! I didn't invite someone over. That's why it's so weird.
Ruth, Yes, you're right. I will let the kids know that you told me to leave them the toilets. They will be so happy with you. :)
Well, I'm moving this weekend. But my friend and I have determined that I probably jumped realities about once before sometime in July. We went to my house to pick up some things, and I parked my bike in front of the porch. When we came out, the bike was not where I put it and was instead along the side of the house as if someone moved it there. My roommate claims someone from the neighborhood moved it, but I still think I skipped realities. Must be a shared ability.

ReplyDeleteKT-definitely sounds like a case of jumping realities to me. :) That's actually freaky weird, twilight zone stuff. (or some neighborhood kid trying to be funny) :) This could be a really cool ability if we can figure out how it works. lol
