So, I'm tired. It's been a crazy two days. But an awesome two days!! I love you people. And I had soooo much fun at my book launches. Thanks to all those who came out. :) Here's just a few pictures (stolen from the people who posted on facebook. Post more pictures, everyone, because I need more) :)
This is a pic of me at my Fresno book launch watching my daughters sing/play the guitar. I was so proud. Can you tell by the smile on my face?
This is me and one of my dear friends and critique partners, Linda.
This is me at The King's English launch. I don't know I what I was saying here, but I'm sure it was awesome and important.
I used to teach a class at church and this was one of my beautiful students. I loved seeing her.
I loved seeing everyone. It was so fun. More pics in the next few days as people upload them.
So, on to the winner of my pre-order contest. The lucky number is 9 (as shown below)
Generate a random number between and = 9
And, do you know who was slotted in the number 9 spot?? HANNAH!!! (I think I need whatever luck juice you're drinking) YAY!!! Congrats, Hannah! I'll email you details.
You continue to be the cutest. I'm still waiting for you to come to Phoenix! I know, I know, soon! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the launch went well, and I cannot believe I won your contest. And Michelle's. This is just too surreal. Do I get an honorary "Pivot Point #1 Fan" title now? ;)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I started following your blog, Kasie. I loved watching you grow from pre-pubbed author to author with a book out. I have an ARC of Pivot Point and am so excited to say my local bookstore has 2 or 3 copies of PP face out. YEA, your gorgeous cover!! I'm excited to buy a hardcover. Love the pictures of your launch - so happy for you and looking forward for more to come :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was such a thrill to be there, Kasie. I always knew your day would come. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy only regret is that I meant to speak to your mother and then got into a conversation with someone else and forgot.
You definitely were saying something awesome and important in that picture. Maybe it was the Homer Simpson quote? It was so cool to put a personality and face to the book that I loved. I'm incredibly excited for the next Pivot Point book and you know if you want anyone to read it early and start spreading the word of how awesome it is I would be more than happy to help. (I'm not sure I have the patience to wait a whole year!) Same goes for The Distance Between Us. That sounds beyond cute!
ReplyDeleteWish I could have made it to the Fresno signing... glad it went well! And congrats to the WINNER! :)

Congratulations, Kasie! I will look for your book in our bookstore.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS ON THE BOOK LAUNCH! I got my copy and I'm way psyched to read it! Haha, love all the pics. I need to go meet you on tour. :D Or just somewhere.
ReplyDeleteOh MEEP! That's me! I think. Unless there are other Hannah in the contest. :D YAYAAA! (course...I haven't seen an email yet. (hannahsue10ATgmailDOTcom?) You can tweet me @InkyReads too.) Thanks so much!
