"How I Write" The Where

Sorry I missed all of last week. I was planning to blog and then left my laptop in Vegas. Sigh. It was a very hard thing for me to be separated from my laptop for a week. It might've been the longest I've been without it. But anyway, I'm trying to make up for it with a vlog. I don't know if this is a reward or a punishment for you to have to watch a video of me. Probably more of a punishment. Ha. I think I might have to run a bloopers reel here soon because I'm not very good at vlogging yet and my bloopers are adding up. :) Next time.

  1. I love this vlog! It's awesome. And I love the fact that you write in a big, comfy, green chair; it's intriguing. Most authors have a desk they write at and though it's better for your posture, it's what works for you.

"I drink a lot while I write." And by "drink a lot" I mean WATER. - Haha, that's funny :D What popped into my head after you said that was the quote Write Drunk, Edit Sober

Thanks for sharing and I'm SO excited for Pivot Point, it sounds amazing!

  2. My favorite place is also a big comfy chair, which is now in my bedroom. For awhile I wrote in the hallway outside my baby's room because I forgot they cut the umbilical cord at birth. (They should tell me these things.) Anyway, I love that your family likes to be with you when you write, but I especially love that instead of taking his chair back your husband just went and bought a new one.

    1. In the hallway outside your baby's room?? Nice. Hey, you do what you can. :) And yes, it's so my hubby to just show up one day and plop a new chair down next to mine. Sigh.

  3. That chair looks insidious! I can absolutely imagine the distraction that comes from people who want your attention sitting in that chair. If I were at your house right now, I would be sitting in that (chair). Okay, that sounds creepy for people who don't know me...
