Looking Back and Forward

Happy New Year, Everyone!!

Since I usually do reviews on Wednesday, I thought it would be fun to look back at my favorite reads of 2012 and then forward to books I can't wait to read in 2013.

Some of my 2012 favs:

Under the Never Sky is a book that sat in my TBR pile forever and I'm sad about that because I love it so so much. But now less time to wait for book 2! Yay!

Cinder was a really cool take on Cinderella. So unique and original. I adored this book.

I feel lucky to have read a lot of books before they hit the shelves this coming year. Madman's Daughter was one of my favorites. This should definitely be on your wish list for the coming year.

Taken, as well, was a very cool read. I really enjoyed this book. It kept me up way past my bedtime.

Loved this book. It's another must read for 2013!

Now. On to books I can't wait to get my greedy hands on:

This book is arriving on my doorstep any second now! I will read it as soon as I have it! So excited. (Happy Book Birthday, Ellen!!)

Yes. Please.

It feels like forever ago since I read Everneath, book 1 in this series. I loved it so much and have been waiting ever since to get a hold of book 2. And here it is, right around the corner. So excited!

Dualed sounds so awesome. I can't wait to read it.

I read a very early version of this book (since Natalie is a crit partner of mine) and I love it. I can't wait to see it all shined up and even better!

Jenn, another crit partner of mine, writes the most creepily awesome books ever. Again, I've read an early version of this book and can't wait to be scared all over again when I can hold it in my hands.

I am a huge Sarah Dessen fan. I have read everything she's written and will continue to read everything she chooses to write. I can't wait for this book!

There are a lot of other books I can't wait for as well. I'll be doing another one of these posts mid-year for all the summer/fall releases. :)

  1. I really need to read, under the never sky. I can't wait for Brodi's book either. I'll have to pin some of these so that I can remember :)
