Can you really hold out a 'g' like that? If you tried to say that post title out loud it would be more like, melting gah gah gah? Yeah? Anyway, beside the point. The point is: Help, my house has been eaten by this horrible cold virus and we're all dropping like flies.
It's been a long time since I've had to stay up all night with a child. Not since my baby, now six, really was a baby. It was a little nostalgic holding him at four am. I had forgotten how quiet and peaceful life is in the still of the night. There's lots of time to think and be grateful. And I am. I am so grateful for everything I've been blessed with. Especially the people in my life. My family. I'm also so grateful for all the support I've been getting for Pivot Point. I really appreciate all the love and kind words sent my way. It means so much to me that one, people take the time to read my book, but that two, they reach out and give me encouraging messages and kind thoughts. It means more than you know. I actually started this post to just say, sorry, sick kids, the blog will be a bit sparse this week. But I got all sappy there for a minute. That sometimes happens when I'm overly tired. :)
Hopefully next week I'll be back to my regular blog schedule. And stay tuned because I'm getting ready to start some fun giveaways here. Yay for free stuff.
Hope you're feeling better. It went through our house at Christmas - great timing.
